Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Boston

About the facilityA FQHC is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage. Creds take about 4-6 weeks.About the facility locationThe facility is located in Boston, MA.About the clinician's workdayThis position starts ASAP (within 4-6 weeks) and lasts for 3-6 months, with a credentialing timeframe of 4-6 weeks. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with one evening shift until 7:30 p.m. weekly, which is flexible. The role is open to MDs, NPs, or PAs and involves call responsibilities on a 1:6 week rotation, with plans to reduce to 1:7 or 1:8. The average patient load is about 20 per day, treating adults (18+). Board certification, DEA, and MCSR are required. The ideal candidate should already be enrolled in Mass Health Medicaid.
