We are currently looking to hire a Plant Human Resources Director based in West Jordan, Utah! In this role, you will support a flagship manufacturing operation in the Salt Lake City, Utah Metropolitan Area. The West Jordan, Utah plant is a unionized facility comprised of approximately 305 team members, producing fresh yogurt products. Competitive salary, benefits and relocation assistance are available for this role.In this role, you will build strategic organizational capability across the business and collaborate with plant business leaders and HR COEs to support and lead site labor and employee relations, recruitment, talent management, culture and the facilitation of various HR programs. The Plant Human Resources Director will lead through collaboration and proximity and will serve as an ambassador for the business and the point-of-contact for all plant associates and leaders. The Plant Human Resources Director will lead a team of three HR professionals and report directly to the Sr. HR Director of Manufacturing, with a strong dotted line reporting to the Sr. Plant Director.Additional Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership to develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for the plant.Manage complex employee relations and labor relations matters, including investigations, grievances and ethics complaints.Provide support and coaching to mitigate risk for the company and ensure employee rights.Support employee engagement related initiatives, assess culture and enhance overall employee experience and business performance.Drive talent pipeline by forecasting and planning site needs to align with business strategy.Lead annual HR Cycle for the plant, (Objective Setting, Talent Review, Mid-Year, Talent Development Plans, Annual Salary Review, etc.)Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.About You
You have a bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in business, HR, industrial relations, or related field is preferred. An HR Certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) is preferred.You have 7+ years of HR experience in a unionized environment, required.You have 5+ years of HR experience in an industrial environment, required.You have 7+ years of exempt level / HR Leadership experience, required.You have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience supporting diverse client groups.You possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.You have project management experience, preferred.You are flexible and have the ability to travel and work off-hours and/or weekends, as business needs dictate.Preferred: You have experience with Integrated Work Systems (IWS) with a proven ability.Dannon is an equal employment and affirmative action employer.
