Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) ManagerTo continue providing the best resolution options for customers, we seek a passionate, results-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) Manager. The BIE Manager will be responsible for driving analytical strategy for their respective function and enable data-driven decision making. Another key aspect of the job is to unearth insights from data to help the operations team in driving process excellence. This position requires exceptional managerial skills, statistical knowledge, superior analytical abilities, knowledge of business intelligence solutions, and exposure to efficient data engineering practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc.Partner with operations/business teams/economist/machine learning (ML) teams to consult, develop and implement key performance indicators (KPI’s), automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.Develop the end-to-end automation of pipelines for applications and ML models.Apply analytic skill to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets.Serve as liaison with Business and technical teams to achieve project objectives, requiring data gathering, problem solving, modeling, and communication of insights and recommendations.Minimum Requirements:7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience.5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience.Experience with SQL.Experience with ETL.Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software.4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience.10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
