Job Opportunity: Our team is seeking a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer
to work in our Reston, VA location.What You'll Get to Do as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer:Design, deploy, monitor, and maintain secure platform architectures for Amazon Web Services (AWS) applications.Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Design and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code and similar automation to reduce manual efforts for deployments, testing, security, and operations.Develop technical documentation and provide support for obtaining and maintaining platform and application Authority to Operate.Proactively identify and remediate platform infrastructure security vulnerabilities with DAST/SAST and infrastructure scanning tools.Identify and execute strategies to reduce manual efforts and improve platform performance and availability.Act as the ambassador and technical representative for the platform while engaging with security, network, and other integrated technology teams.Work with Technical Lead to develop and promote platform processes and standards.Identify, recommend, coordinate, and deliver timely knowledge to development teams regarding technologies, processes, or tools.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Must be a US Citizen for DHS Suitability clearance.BS degree with 10 plus years of experience.5 years of experience in designing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining secure platforms.Experience working within an Agile Development environment.Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code automation (e.g., Terraform, Helm charts).Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.Experience on GitLab Runner is a plus.Java/J2EE experience using Spring Boot, Spring REST, Hibernate Microservices experience.Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres.
