Business Manager, Capital One Shopping Advertiser Management (Remote-Eligible)

As a Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.In this role you will:Own Capital One Shopping’s Advertiser Management strategy and operations.Use data insights to assess performance of operations team.Enhance and create new advertiser monitoring capabilities for Shopping.Identify opportunities for advertiser site fixes and further investment.Operationalize processes for ongoing advertiser monitoring by using and improving existing platforms and tooling.Own partnerships with business teams across the Shopping team.Partner with Shopping’s account management team to display monitoring outcomes and answer core merchant performance questions.Engage in core data-driven activities to grow Shopping’s business.General Responsibilities:Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.May manage and develop 1-2 analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One.Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level modeling/analytics.Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products and strategic intent for products distributed through the retail channel.Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior.Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity.Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team.Impeccable written and oral communication credentials.Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals.Successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).At least 2 years of experience in analysis.At least 1 year experience in SQL.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field.5+ years of experience in analysis.2+ years of experience in financial services.1+ year of experience in consulting.2+ years of experience in people management.2+ years experience in SQL.Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $163,300 - $186,400 for Business Manager.Remote (Regardless of Location): $138,500 - $158,000 for Business Manager.This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days.
