Software Quality Assurance Engineer IIISwisslog Logistic, Inc., Warehouse & Distribution Solutions, a provider of integrated logistics solutions (Warehouse Management Systems), is looking for a dedicated and innovative person to strengthen its team in Newport News, VA.
The Software QA Engineer III position is a senior-level position with strong software testing skills for front-end and back-end solutions. The Software QA Engineer III is expected to work in an Agile team sized (5-7) on projects that run from 5-10 months in duration. A Software QA Engineer III will be able to gain a solid understanding of the domain knowledge with minimal supervision and contribute to design discussions related to testing. Expected to be a fast learner and self-motivated, the Software QA Engineer III will take on tasks with specific and limited scope and follow them through to completion. This role may also involve participation in the reviews and development of functional specification documentation needed for projects and may provide mentoring for junior SQA engineers. Occasional site visits and/or after-hours support may be required. This role is a hybrid role based out of one of our three offices - Atlanta, GA, Newport News, VA, or Mason, OH.

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent Engineering degree if no applicable work experience.Ability to provide documentation that you are eligible to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.Experience with testing Java web applicationsExperience with Test and Integration platforms such as SonarQube and JenkinsExperience with JUnitExperience with source/revision control systems such as SVN and GITAutomated test tools and testing frameworks such as SeleniumExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processStrong working knowledge of SQL and Relational DatabasesPractical experience in:OO Concepts & DesignJava architecturesJAVA SEEclipse development environment and Maven build automationExperience with SOAP and REST web services
