IT Support Specialist Systems Engineer
who will be responsible for the implementation and support of virtualized platforms used within infrastructures for the various MAXISIQ customers. This role encompasses implementing, documenting, and supporting IT systems management and associated technologies including operating systems, storage, virtualization, network and security technologies both on premise and in the cloud supporting over several server instances in highly virtualized environments. Now interviewing for this full-time opportunity located in Chantilly, VA that becomes available in the Oct 2024 timeframe. Must have an active or current TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance to be considered.Job ResponsibilitiesExperience deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Windows and Linux serversExperience with Ubuntu 20+, including installation, configuration, and system managementExperience with Windows server 2019+ and roles, including installation, configuration and system managementFamiliarity with configuring networking routers, switches and firewallsExperience with virtualization platforms to include VMWareExperience with enterprise storage solutions such as Dell and NetAppsExperience deploying Linux, and Windows based desktop environmentsParticipate in architectural forums and architecture development effortsWill support Agile-based program management and implementation of a Model-Base Systems Engineering approachLead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, CDRs, PDRs, and PMRsServe as technical expert in their assigned areaOther responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customersQualificationsSecurity Clearance: Must have active TS/SCI with current Full Scope PolyBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience5 years of related systems engineering experienceVMware VCP, CISSP and/or other relevant certifications, a plusAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer that considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other protected class.
