Salary Range:
$65,000.00 To $75,000.00 AnnuallySummary:The Master Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining Material Master, Bill of Materials, and associated documents for pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and other associated materials in SAP ERP software. This position also has frequent interaction with Finance, Operations, and Compliance departments and requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Duties and Responsibilities:The following duties and responsibilities are those considered to be essential, but do not represent all the job functions that may be required to be performed by this position. Other comparable duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Material MasterMaterial Master Oversight
Coordinate the Material Master Data process from data gathering and input to reporting to ensure integrity and completeness.
Material Creation and Updates
Responsible for the timely creation and maintenance of unique material and batch records for a wide variety of donated and procured medical products and associated materials.
Monitor the database for content and quality
Monitor the Material Master file for accuracy, completeness, and non-redundancy.Determine necessary data field and/or attribute adjustments (e.g. Defined Daily Doses) of materials to run accurate queries and reports.
Valuation
Update material valuation sources monthly.Review system generated mismatch reports, research, and resolve any issues.Coordinate/consult with Finance department to ensure consistent application of valuation policy for product donations.
Create and maintain lists and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for kitted products.Work with Corporate Engagement and Inbound teams to identify incoming donations and ensure Material Master date requirements are met.Ensure Hazardous Materials information (SDS) is included in material data.ComplianceAssist Compliance Quality program by participating in CAPA’s, discrepancies, and process documentation.Inventory Data Analysis and CoordinationResearch and resolve inventory data issues.Communicate valuation issues and coordinate resolution with Finance department.Participate in streamlining data gathering and maintenance processes, as needed.Work with IT to make necessary system improvements.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:BA or equivalent required.SAP R3 and MM module experience preferred.Experience working with Master data in ERP environments.Healthcare background preferred.Analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities.Effective organizational and planning skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.
