Job Overview :We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of personalized customer journeys and marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and AMPscript. You will collaborate with marketing teams, developers, and other stakeholders to build data-driven marketing strategies and solutions.Key Responsibilities:Marketing Cloud Development : Design, develop, and maintain complex marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Interaction Studio.Data Management : Manage customer data for segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content using SQL, Data Extensions, and Contact Builder.Journey Optimization : Develop complex customer journeys and campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven, automated, and optimized for user engagement and conversion.Integration : Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems (e.g., CRM, web analytics platforms) using API (REST, SOAP) and Marketing Cloud Connect.Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and IT to understand business objectives and deliver effective solutions.Testing & Deployment : Develop unit tests and perform QA to ensure the quality and accuracy of campaigns, automations, and marketing processes. Use deployment tools and version control systems as necessary.Reporting & Analytics : Monitor and measure campaign performance, using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce Reporting, and Datorama to ensure continuous improvement and ROI optimization.Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for all custom development, integrations, processes, and data flows within Marketing Cloud.Best Practices & Innovation : Stay updated on the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to improve existing solutions.Qualifications:Experience : 5+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience with a focus on email marketing, campaign automation, and customer journeys.Certifications : Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant.Technical Skills : Expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and SQL for dynamic content and automations. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Studios (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Content Builder). Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Sales/Service Cloud or other third-party systems using Marketing Cloud Connect, APIs (REST, SOAP). Knowledge of data management tools like Data Extensions, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, and Data Views. Understanding of relational databases and data segmentation for targeted marketing.Project Management : Experience in leading projects with cross-functional teams, including marketers and developers, and managing timelines and deliverables.Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex marketing automation challenges.Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Agile Development : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications : Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.Experience with additional Marketing Cloud tools such as Advertising Studio, Social Studio, or Interaction Studio.Familiarity with AI-driven personalization features such as Salesforce Einstein for Marketing Cloud.Experience with DevOps tools like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, or Git for version control and deployment.Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and email deliverability best practices.Additional Information:Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule.Must be able to travel domestically when required.Work holidays and weekends when required.Be available during non-working hours to help resolve critical production problems or to meet deadlines.
