has an opening for a full-time Product Manager/Systems Engineer supporting the C5ISR RTI at Ft. Belvoir, VA or Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.What You’ll DoThe Product Manager/Systems Engineer should have experience with software/systems requirement management and will support Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) projects within the Modeling and Simulation Directorate (MSD). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Documenting the “as-is” architecture and execution environment for existing projects.Decomposing user new requirements into system and software level requirements to specify system and software functionality.Understanding interoperability standards, specifications, and protocols to develop and document interfaces between selected system-level components.Developing test plans and procedures intended to verify the implementation of system requirements in both in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components and the overall system.Documenting two-way traceability between requirements and test procedures, both to ensure test coverage of all requirements and to correlate issues discovered during testing to requirements that are not satisfied within the system under test.Supporting test execution, tracking test results, and documenting issues discovered within the system under test.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clearly present technical approaches and findings in teleconferences and meetings.Ability to work in a dynamic and continually changing group setting.Required Qualifications:BS/BA in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field and seven or more years of professional experience, or MS/MA in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field and five or more years of professional experience.Experience working within Windows and Linux/Unix computer environment with Office and SharePoint repositories.Experience specifying requirements and/or developing and executing testing of computer-based software systems.Desired Qualifications:Experience with, or exposure to Army planning and C2 systems.Experience with, or exposure to, requirements management processes and practical application of those processes to real development projects.Experience with first-level computer system administration and networking techniques in Windows or Linux.We Take Care of Our PeopleWhether you’re looking to launch a new career or grow an existing one, Trideum is the type of company where you can balance great work with great life because we believe that taking care of our people is the right thing to do.
