New York City ? We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team on a

Duration : 12+ Months Location : New York City (On-site, 5 days per week) Interview Process : 1st round – Video, 2nd round – On-Site Note : Local candidates only, utilities experience preferred Background Check : Selected candidates must pass the
NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment References : Two references from your most recent roles will be required. MUST HAVE DRIVER'S LICENSE!!! Key Responsibilities:
Windows Server/Desktop
operating systems, user administration, file system, and software management Server storage
management and RAID configuration Active Directory
management, including backup, recovery, and GPO setup Understanding of
networking concepts
such as DHCP, DNS, Routing, and Firewall configuration Security principles , including ACL, encryption, and fundamental networking security Scripting
skills in PowerShell, bash, ksh, or perl to automate routine tasks System health monitoring
and performance optimization Disaster recovery
planning and backup/restore for systems, applications, and data Managing
patch and firmware installation End-user support
with a strong customer service mindset The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. We value integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make informed business decisions. This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime. **All Candidates Must be Authorized to Legally Work in the US Without Sponsorship** Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field Minimum of
8 years
of IT support experience Strong technical knowledge across computing platforms, including servers, networks, and storage Proficiency in
scripting and automation Ability to lift and transport server equipment Flexibility to work
off-hours
and respond to emergencies Ability to travel to various company locations as required Technical Skills
Must-Have : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 3-5 years' experience in an enterprise IT environment Expertise in
Active Directory
and infrastructure monitoring Knowledge of
VMware vSphere
and
Nutanix environments Hyper-V
and operating systems management Workstation and server troubleshooting skills Nice-to-Have : Experience in
2nd and 3rd-level technical support Familiarity with
SQL queries
and script writing Knowledge of
cybersecurity threats
and
Splunk Experience with
Failover Manager
