Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, the Specialist will be part of a department with responsibilities that include:Inpatient consultationsOutpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatmentAssist with Antimicrobial Stewardship programAssist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programsSystem-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleaguesPost graduate medical education for residents as well as medical studentsAppointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor levelNO primary careActive Hospitalist program to care for inpatientsShared call with other ID physiciansThe Community:Working in this coastal city in southwestern Connecticut provides a variety of geographical advantages that enhance both the professional and personal experience.
