Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for an outpatient clinic-based position in the Division of Autism Services at our primary location in Hershey, PA.The Division of Autism Services is a multidisciplinary team comprised of a psychiatrist, nurse practitioners, psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, board certified behavior analyst, and speech language pathologist, serving patients of all ages, primarily focusing on adolescents and young adults. Clinical services include prescriber services, psychological assessments, individual and group mental health and behavioral therapy, speech evaluations, and augmentative alternative communication assessments and training.The primary outpatient site in Hershey PA integrates research and clinical services, running approximately 40,000 clinical visits per year. Across sites, the department offers assessment programs, medication treatments, neuromodulation, and evidence-based group and individual counseling services. There are opportunities to work with medical students, general psychiatry residents, and other learners. All required calls are phone back-up to residents with the option of additional compensation for doing in-person calls.What we're offering:Potential to be considered for Division Director role depending on relevant administrative experienceFull-time position, including a faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Penn State College of Medicine.
