Bristol Health Medical Group has an exceptional full-time Nocturnist opportunity for BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join the Department of In-patient Medicine at Bristol Hospital.
We are seeking compassionate, mission-focused healthcare providers who want to make a difference and provide quality care to patients in our communities. You will be part of a collegial and collaborative team of providers who are dedicated to Bristol Hospital’s goal of being one of the best community hospitals in Connecticut.
The Hospitalist service provides 24/7/365 inpatient hospital coverage for all patients admitted to the medical and surgical floors.
Summary:The Hospitalist Physician will evaluate and manage inpatients, Observation status patients, and the medical needs of surgical patients. The Hospitalist Physician will work effectively with nursing, responsive to nursing needs, and supportive of the working culture of the clinical units. The Hospitalist Physician will assist utilization personnel, administration personnel, or their designees in Hospital Case Management activities to support the appropriate utilization of Hospital resources and the provision of patient services in the appropriate setting. The Hospitalist Physician will cooperate with administrative personnel to ensure timely and continuous coverage of the program.
