Standard emergency room (ER) responsibilitiesManagement of codes and typical ER cases, with minimal traumaUse of EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) systemSupervision of Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), cosigning charts
Requirements
Licensing :
Active Nebraska medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license highly preferredClean malpractice history preferred
Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS (all required)Experience :
Recent experience in emergency medicine practice over the last 12 months or recent completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved Emergency Medicine residency program

Setting : Emergency Room in a freestanding emergency department environment with hospitalist support on-siteSupport Staff : Physician-led team including Advanced Practice CliniciansHospitalists : Admits handled by dedicated hospital medicine teamSpecialty Support : Full specialty backup with a streamlined transfer processPatient Volume : Steady flow of both inpatient and outpatient emergency casesTravel and Accommodations
Lodging : Reimbursement for actual expenses up to 1.5 times the local GSA rate if preferred lodging is unavailableCredentialing Requirements
