As Fitbod's new VP of Marketing, you would directly lead and scale the marketing group, and help Fitbod achieve that next step-function growth. Reporting to the CEO, this person will oversee all aspects of marketing and drive the marketing vision and strategy for Fitbod.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership : Lead a team of cross-disciplinary marketers (Paid User Acquisition, Email and Lifecycle, Content, Social Media and Creative/Brand) to drive key business outcomes. Channel Expansion : Identify and assess new marketing channels to diversify acquisition efforts and reduce reliance on paid advertising. Develop a strategic roadmap for scaling growth activities across various channels. Paid User Acquisition : Increase the scale and effectiveness of the paid user acquisition program, driving towards the next level of growth. Lead initiatives to optimize conversion funnels and maximize ROI. Content Strategy : Utilize Fitbod's unique dataset to conduct research and insights into exercise science, leveraging findings to inform content creation and enhance user engagement. Long-Term Roadmap : Develop a comprehensive roadmap and methodology for testing, iteration, and scaling of growth activities over the next 6-18 months, aligning with business objectives and market trends. Brand Positioning : Define and evolve Fitbod’s brand positioning as a leader in the health and fitness space, across various customer segments. Engagement & Retention : Launch and execute customer retention and lifecycle initiatives. About You
Channel Ownership : Previous experience owning and scaling entire marketing channels, from top-of-funnel strategies to conversion optimization. Quantitative Background : Demonstrated ability to analyze data, conduct AB testing, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance. Strategic Leadership : Proven track record of setting strategic direction, roadmap development, and leading multidisciplinary marketing teams to success. Ideation Skills : Strong ability to generate and evaluate diverse ideas for solving marketing challenges and driving growth. Experience Scaling Acquisition : Direct experience scaling user acquisition efforts at a similar company, with a focus on diversifying and managing a portfolio of marketing channels. Consumer Experience : Strong understanding of consumer behavior and subscription business models, with a focus on optimizing user experience and retention. Product Sense : Intuition for identifying features and solutions that effectively address user needs and enhance product value proposition.
$200,000 - $280,000 a year Positions are remote-only, with the option to work from our SF office when it is safe to do so. We are looking for full-time teammates! Positions include a full benefits package including: Full Medical, Vision, Dental, Life & Disability Insurance, flexible time-off, Slavic 401(k) with a 4% company match, company-wide days off for wellness & social lunches (via Zoom of course), a stipend for the gym/fitness, and all employees are able to expense up to $2000USD/year for continuing their development while employed with Fitbod!
