Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Central California

About the facilityA facility that provides 24-hour services and treatment to adults who have a serious mental illness is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage. Clients have been homeless or are at risk of homelessness and may also have a co-occurring substance use disorder. Community-based services include mental health treatment, substance use disorder counseling, vocational rehabilitation, peer counseling, and supportive housing.About the facility locationThe facility is located in Central CA near Visalia, CA.About the clinician's workdayThe clinician is needed to work Wednesday through Friday for 8-16 hours to start and ramp up to 24 hours/week once the transition is complete. The hours are 8-5 PM, with an hour for administrative duties and time to meet with the team. The EMR is SmartCare, so the clinician must be comfortable using that system.
