to maintain high healthcare delivery standards.
HH Kings County has recently opened a
Neuroscience Center
and offers state-of-the-art care for Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Neuroimmunology including Multiple Sclerosis, and Stroke. Our Stroke Center is accredited as Thrombectomy Capable by The Joint Commission. Our Epilepsy Center has achieved Level 2 accreditation by the National Association for Accredited Epilepsy Centers criteria.

Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients in the Epilepsy Outpatient Practice.
Interpret Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and document in the EMR.
Evaluate and manage patients on the General Neurology Inpatient Service and in General Neurology Outpatient Practices.
Participate in the quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities of the Neurology Service.
Supervise and teach Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows. Participate in the educational activities of the Neurology Service.
Attend and participate in Neurology Service Faculty meetings.
Qualifications
Current licensed NYS registration.
Board Certified in Pediatric Neurology.
Board Certified in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology.
Graduate from an approved Medical School.
Completion of an approved fellowship in Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $269,216 based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $351,657.
401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage.
Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
