Podiatrist and Wound Healing Medical Director Opening in Picturesque Portland, MaineNorthern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time Podiatrist and Medical Director for its Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine practice in Portland, Maine. The right candidate will join and lead a group of dedicated staff who provide individualized treatment using state-of-the-art techniques, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and more. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical specialties including imaging and laboratory services, infectious disease, diabetes education, vascular specialists, podiatry, rheumatology, cardiology and orthopedics.We provide comprehensive treatment for acute and chronic wounds of every type, including:Diabetic ulcersNeuropathic or venous stasis ulcersPressure ulcersPeristomal skin irritationRadiation injuryChronic bone infectionPost-operative woundsChronic wounds caused by circulatory or other problemsMinor burnsTraumatic woundsAs Medical Director, you will have a seat at the table where decisions about the future of the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine practice are made.
