The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Physicians to join its practices in Long Island, NY.Mount Sinai South Nassau (MSSN)
is an award-winning, acute care, not-for-profit teaching hospital located in Oceanside, New York. Our dedicated staff serves the entire South Shore of Long Island, from the Rockaways in Queens to the Massapequas and beyond. And we offer quality, compassionate care on our main campus in Oceanside, plus nine other satellite facilities in the region. Mount Sinai South Nassau, formerly known as South Nassau Communities Hospital before becoming part of the Mount Sinai Health Network, is one of the region’s largest hospitals, with 455 beds, more than 900 physicians and 3,500 employees. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (South Nassau) Family Medicine Residency Program has been fully accredited by the ACGME for more than 40 years. We have produced hundreds of board-certified Family Physicians and trained thousands of medical students. Our faculty continue to serve in leadership roles throughout NY state and regularly present regionally and nationally. As a faculty member who will receive an appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS), the physician will have access to a host of opportunities provided by the one of the best medical schools in the nation and one of the best hospitals in the world. This includes faculty development, leadership skills training, access to library services, access to wellness programs, free CME, and more.
MSD Long Island:Joining this multi-specialty group with its main site in a brand new, state-of-the-art, 80,000 square foot ambulatory facility in Huntington, will allow the physician to rapidly grow a practice by servicing a large and diverse patient population in Huntington and other nearby Mount Sinai Doctor sites. Long Island is full of beautiful communities with excellent school districts, art museums, restaurants, and concert venues. Additionally, Manhattan is only a short drive or train ride away. Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island offers comprehensive care through its sites and is comprised of 77 physicians representing almost every medical and surgical specialty. Additionally, this site has a full imaging center, state-of-the-art accredited office endoscopy center, and on-site Laboratory, as well as a comprehensive support team, including RN’s and MA’s.

MSD Five Towns:Mount Sinai Doctors Five Towns is a multispecialty group practice located in the town of Hewlett on the South Shore of Long Island. They offer adult primary care, and a variety of specialties including endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and adolescent medicine and pulmonary medicine. Radiology services are on site. In addition, a team from Mount Sinai’s Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute visits regularly to care for patients with liver, kidney, pancreas and intestinal conditions that may require transplant. Mount Sinai Doctors Five Towns offers comprehensive care which consist of highly-trained physicians as well as skilled nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and patient care associates. This practice provides local and convenient access to the specialists, services, and quality care that the Mount Sinai network has to offer. Our providers work together in an integrated approach to efficiently understand the full picture of a patient’s care.
