Job Description
Position: NET Developer with Security Exp. Duration: 6+ Months Location: Foster City, CA The successful candidate will be part of a security team to design and develop browser-based middle tier and front-end applications for products using Visual Studio .NET 2010/2012/2015 (ASP.NET - C#) and MVC. Perform unit security scanning, and remediate security findings of applications. Interface directly with staff members of Development, Product Management, Project Management, and Quality Assurance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, document, and implement new functionality, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software. Remediate PEN test and SSDLC findings. Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Work as part of a development team and establish close working relationships with stakeholders, quality assurance, architects, as well as management. Prepare design documents; evaluate and recommend solutions to meet user requirements; define and implement solutions.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 or more years of experience using C#, ASP.NET 2.0 and the .NET framework (versions 3.5 - 4.5). Expert in defining remote communication methodologies such as web services, WCF, MQ, and remoting. Experience with AJAX, WPF, WF, and the MVC/MVVM design pattern is desirable. Experience with coding accessible websites (Section 508 and/or WCAG 2.0) is preferred. Working knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures, and database design. Development experience in a cross-platform, multi-tier environment. Ability to provide oversight for design deliverables and development tasks. Consistently able to assess and evaluate problems and manage risk to the service when recommending a change. Ability to develop code that follows established coding guidelines. Quick learner; self-starter, detailed and thorough. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or other technical discipline. Additional Information
