In this role, you will be a key architect and leader in driving the strategy, design, and implementation of our infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will work at the highest level to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems, enabling seamless deployment and continuous integration for our web and mobile platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to advance our infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and mentor other engineers.Job Duties:Architect and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure across multiple environments. Ensure that infrastructure is designed for high availability and future growth.Design, optimize, and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.Lead the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Establish robust monitoring and alerting frameworks to ensure real-time insights into system performance.Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline code deployments, improve deployment frequency, and ensure alignment with business and operational goals.Oversee the implementation of security best practices in deployment, infrastructure management, and data protection.Champion automation across all aspects of DevOps, from infrastructure provisioning to operational workflows.Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior and senior DevOps engineers.Job Qualifications:The Must-Haves:8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role, with 3+ years in a senior or principal capacity.Deep expertise in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines.Expert-level experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.Strong scripting and automation skills.Advanced knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset.Excellent communication skills.Not Required, but Helpful:Experience in the media or entertainment industry.Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.Certifications in cloud technologies.Work Schedule:

Fulltime, M-F. There is an expectation for this role to work a shared on-call schedule with other team members.Travel Requirements:

Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $182,980, plus incentive compensation.
