DESCRIPTIONThe Program Director of the Quality Parenting Center (QPC) will be responsible for the oversight and management of the QPC program. The QPC is a community-based service, using a parent empowerment model, serving DCF involved families who have had their children removed and placed in foster or relative/kinship care, and is a supervised visitation model which requires considerable knowledge of child welfare/CPS practices, dynamics, legal issues, and support systems. The Program Director will oversee all program operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the effective implementation and running of the QPC Program.
Supervises the Program Supervisor.
Ensures Program Vehicle Safety and Security.
Works with the Program Supervisor to meet the visitation demands of the local DCF region.
Ensures staff are adequately trained and well suited for their positions.
Responsible for all DCF related program reviews.
Responsible for the development and submission of all DCF reports including PIE.
In conjunction with the Program Supervisor ensures Family Time Specialists and Scheduler training coordination.
Monitors and Reviews Programming.
Collects and Monitors Continuous Quality Improvement data related to program.
Attends pre and post visit meetings as needed.
Maintains and supports trauma-informed care for QPC program.
On-Call as needed for program which operates 365 days per year.
Performs any other related work as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
Supervisory experience or a Master’s degree in healthcare, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory role.
LCSW, LMFT, or LPC preferred but not required.
