Group/Division
With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsible for supporting KLA's reticle inspection products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development: Characterization of next generation semiconductor reticle inspection products including designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, and publishing results.
Customer Support: Product value demonstration during beta testing and tools in the ramp phase, investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions.
Use-case Demos: Conduct new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases to help drive tool sales.
Worldwide travel (on average 10-20%) is required to support inspection products at customer sites.
Qualifications
Candidate must have MS in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using Excel, Matlab, Python, JMP or other data-analysis tools.
A background in Applications Engineering in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment is strongly desirable.
A background in Systems Engineering is a plus.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Candidate must be self-driven and a strong team player.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree with work experience of 0 years, Bachelor's Level Degree with work experience of 1 year.
