Description
Build n-tier highly scalable, fault tolerant, reactive Microservices using Java/Scala, AKKA and RESTful architecture for Walmart Omni platforms.
Design/Develop Applications in No-SQL databases such as Cassandra, ScyllaDB, YugaByteDB, and Azure Cosmos DB.
Develop Walmart ecommerce platform using Open Source Technologies like Akka-Http, Apache Camel, Apache Drools, Rest/Grpc Webservices.
Migrate from virtual machines to containers using Kubernetes and CI/CD.
Optimize platform utilization in collaboration with platform and application teams.
Deploy web apps to cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP) and work with distributed, service-oriented architecture.
Continuously improve DevOps tooling and software delivery processes.
Research application components to promote product scalability, stability, and performance.
Build high throughput data pipelines using Apache Kafka for Catalog Azure/GCP Data Lake, ensuring secure data transmission.
Lead the migration of legacy Catalog Services to next-generation Reactive Microsystems using Akka-Http and Akka Streams, deployed in Kubernetes Ecosystem on Google GCP and Microsoft Azure.
Understand the machine learning lifecycle and build solutions for data scientists to deploy machine learning applications at scale.
Develop applications for web and mobile media.
Apply data structure and algorithmic skills to develop data mining patterns for deriving insights from terabytes of data.
Utilize industry research and innovation to build next-generation systems to improve Walmart's technology environment.
Design and develop service-oriented (SOA) architectures-based modular applications.
Build Big Data platforms using Hortonworks, Cloudera CDH, Apache Hadoop for data storage and processing with Apache Spark and Presto Analytics Engine.
Conduct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues.
Design and architect cloud-native, distributed, high-performance, and scalable microservices for Walmart grocery Ecosystem.
Coordinate with teams at different geographical locations for development rollout of new features and issue resolution.
