The Senior Security IT Architect is responsible for providing security architecture and technical leadership to the enterprise. Working closely with the IT leadership team and business stakeholders, the Senior Security IT Architect will design and develop strategic IT roadmaps, provide technical oversight in managing third party vendors, drive innovation, and ensure enterprise architectural security standards and best practices are followed. Responsibilities: Design security solutions by applying enterprise standards, frameworks, and reference architectures. Evaluate and select technology for solving security technical needs. Communicate complex security topics regarding solutions that will meet business stakeholders' project needs. Adhere to best practices, processes, and standards set by the Enterprise Architecture group. Work with other IT Architects, Solution Engineers, and Managed Service Provider (“MSP”) teams to analyze and document non-functional requirements. Identify system, infrastructure, and project interdependencies and balance competing demands. Ensure strategic alignment of IT security architecture to meet business outcomes. Advise on and validate security architecture deliverables to suit target audience. Drive a fit for purpose security solution architecture aligned with enterprise architecture principles. Prepare and present project documentation for the architecture review board. Evaluate design approaches, make architectural recommendations, and implement improvements to testing strategies. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with typically more than 10 - 12 years of related experience. Normally holds an advanced degree in area of specialization.
