Overview
SCCI is seeking an innovative and motivated candidate to join our team as the
Director of Contracts . This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be impactful in the success of an organization providing support to the defense industry. In this position, you will be an essential part of the team and responsible for all aspects of contract negotiation, management, and administration of complex US Government contracts. This position is located at our Corporate office in
Frederick, MD .

Responsibilities:
Manage personnel assigned to the Contracts Department along with all Contracts functions.
Provide cradle-to-grave administration of complex government contracts.
Develop and coordinate all activities for price and cost proposals.
Prepare, negotiate, award and manage contracts, subcontracts, and agreements issued by SCCI.
Provide timely and responsive generation and negotiation of supporting contractual documents such as nondisclosure agreements, software evaluation, and license agreements.
Review, summarize, and brief senior/executive level management on contract terms and conditions.
Regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving complex contract and business issues.
Establish and maintain an appropriate contract reporting system.
Comply with security requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Ten (10)+ years of experience administering US Government contracts, including GSA Schedules and all contract types: firm fixed price, cost plus fixed fee, cost plus incentive fee, cost plus award fee, and time and material contracts.
Experience with contract negotiation, pricing and cost proposal development, negotiation of nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements and subcontracts.
Knowledge of US Government procurement regulations, including FAR, DFARS and agency specific supplements.
Experience working with and briefing senior management on contract issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions, manage and prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Microsoft Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Experience working with SeaPort-e, SeaPort NexGen, and GSA OASIS is strongly desired.
The pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $200,000.00 and is a general guideline only. Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
