Description
Everi is seeking a talented Network & Systems Architect to join our fantastic Product Support team in Reno, NV. This role will be based at the Everi Reno NV office and might require travel to a secure collocation facility to install, troubleshoot and life-cycle hardware.
What Will You Be Doing?
This is a Systems focused position which requires a base level of networking knowledge to design, implement, and maintain systems environments.Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN services, remote access, network services, firewalls, load balancer availability, and security for Everi's product environments.Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.Manage and maintain all network and system components, functions, and implementations.Troubleshoot problems and develop innovative systems and network solutions to ensure uptime for our customers.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience relating to enterprise systems and networking.Previous server rack and build experience.2+ years of experience in the gaming industry.Basic understanding of Hypervisor technology (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix), Systems Administration (Windows 2016+, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)), Storage (NAS/SAN), Network (Routing/Switching/VLANS/VPNs).Demonstrated knowledge of VMWare, MS Server, and PowerShell.A base-level knowledge of networking and application protocols like TCP / IP protocol stack and application protocols, including SNMP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP.Demonstrated understanding of the configuration of Cisco and Fortinet switches, routers, and firewalls.Enterprise systems monitoring experience using Splunk, Solarwinds, Zenoss, Datadog, or other similar tools.Nice to have: Automation/Orchestration experience (Ansible, Terraform), Scripting/Programming (PowerShell, Bash, Python), Supporting Live Services (Revenue/Customer Impacting)
