About the Role:
As the Vice President of Business Development at NBW, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring the efficient execution of operational aspects of the business. You will lead a dedicated team, focusing on high-quality service delivery, optimizing processes, and fostering strategic partnerships to achieve sustainable growth.
We're seeking candidates who can successfully target end users in specific industries, including food, petrochemical, energy and power plants, healthcare, heavy industrial sectors, steel manufacturing, and refineries. The ideal candidate will focus on promoting boiler-related services such as boiler repair, boiler service, mechanical construction, boiler rentals, boiler infrastructure upgrades, and boiler sales. This role requires a strategic approach to identify and engage with clients, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that meet industry-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth and Expansion:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals, focusing on new market opportunities and resource optimization.
Sales Leadership: Build and oversee the sales team, providing guidance and support to maximize performance and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding into new markets.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all functions to ensure accountability and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Leadership:
Operational Excellence: Drive a culture of operational excellence, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in all aspects of service delivery, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Process Management: Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.
Technology Implementation: Identify and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
Team Leadership:
Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team across business development and operations, fostering a collaborative environment.
Talent Development: Identify and develop talent within the teams to ensure a pipeline of skilled professionals for future needs.
Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless alignment of revenue creation and operational activities.
Innovation and Improvement:
Market Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, informing strategic decisions.
Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization, minimize expenses, and maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not mandatory; master’s degree a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior business development or operations management role, preferably within the boiler, construction, or engineering sectors.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and achieving ambitious sales and cost targets.
Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and operational principles, including customer relationship management and supply chain management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
