Location: Arden Hills, MinnesotaPresbyterian Homes & Services - Johanna Shores is seeking a Life Enrichment Director for its team. The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, facilitating, leading, evaluating and effectively directing the life enrichment staff and program to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and established best practices.REPORTING STRUCTUREThe Life Enrichment Director reports to the Care Center Administrator.ABOUT THIS COMMUNITYJohanna Shores is located at 3200 Lake Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills, MN 55112. Not far from either Minneapolis or St. Paul, this large community of dedicated staff offers a peaceful and refreshing place to work.WAGE$43,784 - $54,746+ per year (wage dependent on prior experience)ResponsibilitiesDevelop, plan, direct and implement a comprehensive program of leisure life/life enrichment services for residents.Collaborate with residents, families, other professionals, and staff to develop, plan, and implement programs that meet the psychosocial and activities needs of residents.Establish systems and processes for management of campus events and shared services.Maintain a life enrichment program based on resident assessment, needs, and established procedures.Provide consultation, evaluation, and assessment of residents as needed.Participate in resident care planning and provide education/consultation to residents, families, and staff.Maintain records in accordance with regulations and established procedures.Serve as a site resource for life enrichment services.Develop and promote a program that helps residents achieve “their best day.”QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field, or equivalent experience.Previous leadership experience in recreation program/event coordination.Demonstrated leadership qualities and knowledge of federal and state regulations.Ability to communicate effectively in English.About PHSBased in St. Paul, Minnesota, Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is a nonprofit, faith-based organization providing a broad array of high-quality housing choices, care options, and services for older adults.
