With our combined resources, CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.ResponsibilitiesOversight of facility operations of large multi-site hospital and/or health center locations.Manage multiple acute care facilities totaling greater than 500,000 square feet and greater than 250 licensed beds.Responsible for multiple supervisors and/or departments, including Environmental Services, Dietary, Transportation, Laundry, Security, etc.Serve as the Life Safety Officer over multiple facilities.Adhere to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct and support CommonSpirit Health’s Mission, Philosophy, and Core Values.Conduct monthly department meetings and ensure timely delivery of reports.Develop capital and operational budgets and assure appropriate use of staff, materials, supplies, and vendors.Ensure all maintenance procedures meet applicable codes, standards, or equipment requirements.Responsible for recruitment, training, and development of staff, including conducting performance evaluations.Develop ongoing communication plans with staff, leadership, and customers.Manage the annual PQE process and ensure continued accreditation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.Maintain records of all maintenance procedures as required.Manage customer satisfaction surveys at least annually.Provide personal growth opportunities and professional training support for team members.Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.Support construction-related activities, including an advisory role in the development and implementation of the Master Facility Plan.QualificationsBachelor Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience with at least 4 years in hospital maintenance/medical equipment operations management required.Professional Designation, Licensure, certification preferred (i.e., CHFM, CHC, PE).Construction experience, Safety, and Security experience preferred.Must demonstrate financial and operational management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Pay Range$42.49 - $61.61 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
