Sales Strategy Manager

The sales strategy manager will have a pivotal role in JDE USA’s growth. This person will be a key piece of the conduit for sales planning, trade marketing and sales ops leader supporting the commercial organization across the omnichannel for both Tea and Coffee. This person will work collaboratively with the channel leads for our retail, on-premises and wholesales business across the Tea and Coffee portfolio. They will work with sales channel leads to champion the business planning responsibilities for near- and long-term objectives. They will also take these plans and translate them into actionable financial targets for the commercial organization. This is a highly collaborative role that requires a driven, self-motivated individual. Precision and accuracy are paramount to success.Job Responsibilities:Omni-channel management with a focus on promotions and pack strategy configuration.
Become a resident expert in our current-state Wholesale planning, sell-in, sell-thru, and operational process and system requirements.Understand and leverage the 4 P’s to create & drive business development.
Sales Analysis and Recommendation:
Sku rationalization and sales analysis to provide accurate forecast models and product recommendation.Promo planning with category and sales managers.Sales velocity requirements for success.Determination of order size per segments to drive topline growth.Reporting: Point of Sale and Category / Industry scorecard
Document and communicate action items, deliverables, and dates to leadership and business partners. Ensure timely delivery of the above or appropriate escalation of delays.Anticipate and consider impact and integration into other systems and programs.Consistently show up as a strong “voice of the business”, building the trust across omni-channel commercial teams to make critical requirement and process decisions.Trade planning with trade marketing and channel leads. To include but not limited to:
Key industry events activities / trade showsProvide portal support of select key customers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s college degree from an accredited institutionMBA preferredA minimum of 4 years’ work experienceA minimum 2 years of sales or support in a consumer products environment.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with demonstrated mastery of using advanced Excel and PowerPoint to create effective sales presentations.Analytical skills: at ease handling databases, understanding and identifying correlations and sales patterns, calculating ROI’s.Strong organizational and time management skillsProblem solving mindsetKnowledge of Netsuite a plusDynamic and collaborative, proactive, driven, and self-motivatedExcellent communication skills; understands audience and adjusts communication to drive desired results.Additional Information
