We advance the climate discipline within the single-family portfolio division and across the enterprise. This team is focused on promoting a framework to identify, measure, monitor, control, and report climate-related risks. Our goal is to integrate the framework with existing risk management structures to mitigate its impacts on vulnerable communities. Our core functions include:Facilitating climate change-related research projects to analyze the impact of physical and transition risks on the portfolio and improve the resilience of the housing market.Evaluating climate change-related data and gaps within the enterprise.Driving a governance framework for climate risks.Your Impact:
Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables while supporting business management functions across the team.Develop light-touch, high-value processes that adapt and integrate activities across partner groups towards efficient execution of the strategy.Support the development of a climate risk management strategy that aligns with our governance and regulatory requirements.Help drive our corporate strategy by incorporating appropriate industry best practices.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a preferred field such as Liberal Arts or Behavioral Sciences with 5+ years professional work experienceOutstanding relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to navigate among partner groupsProficient core business management and project management skills (conceptualizing work breakdown, driving task execution and delivering within timelines)Knowledge of climate risk-related or mortgage finance concepts such as physical and transition risk, catastrophe and/or climate modeling is strongly preferredCreate reports and executive-level presentations with visually oriented information that is fit-for-purpose, intuitive, and easy to consumeKeys to Success in this Role:
