The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization capitalizes on Amazon's scale and speed to build a more resilient and sustainable company. We manage our social and environmental impacts globally, and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable.

The Sustainability Measurement & Abatement Technology team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (i.e., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazon's global business teams.

We are looking for a product leader to help raise the customer experience bar, help WWS tools and models gain adoption across Amazon, and build solutions to manage sustainability planning, measurement and reporting at scale.

Key job responsibilitiesComfortably sort through urgency and opportunity to continuously deliver for customers while maintaining progress towards long term targetsCollaborate with groups of experts and cross-functional colleagues in an agile environmentDiscover, define, and apply scientific, engineering, and business best practices to customer problemsWork on a variety of challenging problems that have the potential to significantly impact sustainability objectivesWork with cross-functional leaders (e.g. sustainability experts, scientists, economists, engineers, etc.) to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable, distributed services

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of end to end product delivery experienceExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on timeExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningExperience in building and driving adoption of new tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSightExperience in developing AI-powered products and applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
