Title: Manager, Information Security & Compliance Department: Information Technology Status: Full-Time Pay Rate: $120,000-$135,000/year* Reports to: Senior Vice President, Information Technology *Compensation rates vary based on job-related factors, including experience, job skills, education, and training. The Los Angeles Dodgers, a renowned Major League Baseball franchise, are in search of a qualified Manager, Information Security and Compliance to join our Information Technology team. This key role will be responsible for managing the security and compliance of the organization's technology systems and services, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Information Technology. Implement an information security strategy that aligns with the organizations and leagues objectives. Ensure that all systems and data are secure by implementing appropriate security measures. Create and maintain policies, controls and procedures related to information security. Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners related to information security. Coordinate, implement, and maintain a comprehensive IT security strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and industry best practices. Implement safeguards to assist in the organization's compliance with all relevant data protection laws, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify, assess, and prioritize IT security risks, and develop and execute strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively. Implement security awareness programs and training initiatives to educate employees on best security practices and emerging threats. Establish, enforce, and regularly update IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect the organization's data and information systems. Maintain an incident response plan and lead swift, efficient responses to IT security incidents and breaches. Review third-party vendor security risks to safeguard the organization's interests. Coordinate and participate in IT security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Evaluate Information Security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's IT security posture. Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership and stakeholders on the status of IT security and compliance initiatives. Monitor, configure and maintain information security tools. Identify and lead remediation of gaps in security posture. Investigate and remediate Information Security incidents. Basic Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT security, with a demonstrated history of successfully leading cybersecurity initiatives. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is mandatory. In-depth knowledge of data protection laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ability to effectively communicate and lead, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Expertise in risk management and assessment methodologies. Familiarity with IT security tools and technologies. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field required.
