Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack software engineer with extensive experience in software development, object-oriented programming, data modeling, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust micro-service applications while also managing data architecture and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable micro-service applications from conception to deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement data models that enable analytics solutions
Contribute to the development of data lakes and data warehouses to support data transformation and business intelligence application goals
Create and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best practices in software development and data management
Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices in coding and data management
Maintain documentation for data models, application architecture, and development processes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science
5+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js)
Strong experience with data modeling techniques and tools
Familiarity with data lakes and data warehouse architectures
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with analytics tools and frameworks
Professional working knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Professional working experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to develop abstract, non-customer specific solutions that scale
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
