We are seeking a

Maximo Configuration Specialist

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and supporting IBM Maximo Asset Management systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality for enterprise asset management. This role requires a deep understanding of Maximo configuration, customization, workflows, and integration with other enterprise systems.Responsibilities

Maximo System Configuration:Configure IBM Maximo to meet organizational needs, including but not limited to asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory modules.Customize Maximo’s front-end, database structures, and user interface as per user and business requirements.Design, implement, and maintain workflows, business rules, and escalations to optimize system performance and automate processes.System Integration and Support:Integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems (ERP, SCADA, GIS, etc.) to support seamless data exchange and operational efficiency.Provide technical support for Maximo users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to configuration, data, and performance.Develop and maintain interfaces between Maximo and third-party applications.Reporting and Analytics:Configure and develop reports, KPIs, and dashboards within Maximo using BIRT, Cognos, or other reporting tools.Ensure the system provides accurate and up-to-date information for decision-making by working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.System Administration and Maintenance:Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades, ensuring they are implemented smoothly without affecting daily operations.Perform routine system maintenance, monitoring, and optimization to ensure Maximo operates efficiently.Manage user roles, access permissions, and security settings to safeguard sensitive information and comply with internal security policies.Documentation and Training:Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configuration changes, customizations, workflows, and integrations.Provide training and support to users and administrators to ensure efficient use of the system.Project Collaboration:Work closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and vendors, to gather requirements and deliver Maximo solutions.Participate in Maximo-related projects, including new implementations, system upgrades, and process optimization efforts.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).3+ years of experience configuring and supporting IBM Maximo Asset Management, including version 7.6 and later.Strong understanding of Maximo modules such as asset management, work management, service management, and inventory management.Experience with Maximo database administration and integration with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, GIS).Proficient in configuring workflows, escalations, and automation scripts in Maximo.Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Java for customizations and system integration.Familiarity with Maximo reporting tools such as BIRT or Cognos.$120,000 - $130,000 a year#J-18808-Ljbffr
