The Director of Enterprise Application will lead the strategic planning, implementation initiatives, and continuous improvement of the application technology solutions at Dynamic Manufacturing. As a key member of the senior IT management team, the Director of ERP will collaborate closely with other leaders in IT and business units to spearhead digital transformation initiatives, optimize application value, and ensure the security and compliance of our application landscape.

Director of Enterprise Applications Core Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for ERP that supports our organizations business goals and objectives. Own, maintain, and promote awareness of the strategic roadmap.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance team of IT professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and ongoing improvement.

Develop productive relationships with business leaders across our organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value. Conduct regular surveys of stakeholders satisfaction, publish the results, and implement action plans to improve satisfaction.

Oversee the management of the ERP project portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements. Evaluate and prioritize objects based on strategic alignment, return on investment, and risk.

Safeguard the reliability, availability, and performance of the ERP system. Implement best practices for application life cycle management, including development, deployment, maintenance, support, and retirement of solutions.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners. Develop a nuanced understanding of strategic vendors roadmaps and how these will support the companys business objectives.

Work with cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure applications comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with applications and database systems.

Develop and manage the budget for the ERP team, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

Director of Enterprise Applications Job Qualifications:

Degree in a related field (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental Sciences) or equivalent experience.

10+ years ERP implementation experience, software solution implementation, required.

Experience in change management effectively communicating changes, building commitment, and overcoming resistance to prepare and support those affected.

Knowledge of requirements solicitation, application development, and cloud-based solutions (Saas, PaaS).

In-depth knowledge of ERP platforms, cloud computing, and related technologies. IFS (cloud) experience strongly preferred. Ability to use strategic planning to translate business goals into technology solutions.

Lead, inspire, and develop innovative teams. Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement while demonstrating sound judgment and making timely, effective decisions.

Demonstrated success in vendor management.

Proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive the creation and use of business systems and processes.

Expert communication and consulting skills to build strong relationships with business users, team members, and consultants.

Manufacturing or Automotive experience is a plus.
