This is a temporary position.Performs under the direction of the Sr Business Systems Analyst. Primary responsibility will be to submit Global Technology Security Engagement Requests (SERs) and certificate renewals for HR applications. Acts as a liaison between Global Technology HR, Global Technology Security, and Marriott 3rd party vendors. Will facilitate and lead working sessions or work group activities and/or function as a technical expert. Collaborates with HR business partners and client and information technology organizations to define functional requirements and functional designs of creative solutions that will support the clients’ strategy and future business goals. Performs independent research to proactively identify and analyze future opportunities and emerging solutions that could be applied in the clients’ operations to drive improvement. Leverage technical expertise as input to multi-year technology roadmaps for clients.CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and ExperienceRequired:Undergraduate degree (BA/BS).2 years’ experience in information technology.SAFe Agile experience.Familiar with technology security standards and protocols.Single-Sign On experience required (preferably with SAML 2.0 or OIDC).Experience working with Service Providers on and off-shore.Preferred:Graduate degree in related field.CISSP, CISM or similar certification.Oracle HCM experience.Experience identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to complex business requirements and providing guidance and advice.Strong communication skills, including experience facilitating requirements analysis and functional design working sessions.Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.Excellent analytical skills where problems are very unusual and extremely difficult.Experience with business process re-engineering.Demonstrated knowledge of supported discipline.Strong process management and problem resolution skills.Broad technical experience across technical components including infrastructure, network, applications, data, and information security.Familiarity with Marriott’s existing information architecture, application portfolio, and information management methodology.Knowledge of emerging technologies, including those new to the Marriott environment as well as those that are new to the information systems industry.Able to convert business needs into technology requirements and working within IT to manage the execution of projects.Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action.The pay range for this position is $40.86 to $63.17 per hour.Washington Applicants Only:
