Working within our Machine Learning platform and reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager, your primary responsibilities include the following:You will build large-scale distributed systems to support the Machine Learning pipeline, including data collection, feature engineering, model training, model evaluation, model deployment, and real-time service and policy evaluation.You will apply analytical and math/statistics skills to stay on top of data and to ensure results are consistent and reliable.You will solve complex real-world business problems (e.g., threat detection, automation, and business intelligence) by working with multiple partners including data scientists, product management, and product engineering teams.What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)An algorithm, data structure, computer science foundation; 4+ years of industry experiences in AI/ML and in Python and experience with C Coding4+ years of experience using distributed data processing such as Spark, BigQuery, or Apache Beam4+ years of experience building and scaling models based on LightGBM/LLM; 4+ years of experience with public cloud services infrastructure offerings such as AWS, GCP, Azure.4+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event messaging such as Kafka, or RabbitMQWhat Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Experience with C Coding; Experience setting up SQL/NoSQL database such as Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and table schemaExperience with machine learning or deep learning related toolset/frameworks, such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.Familiarity with networking and networking securityZscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.Base Pay Range
