This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1F Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance.Attend high-level briefings and take detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues.Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings.Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in any general field of study with a minimum of five (5) years of Navy fleet experience in an AEGIS Combat Systems role.Former Junior US Naval Officer with an honorable discharge.Experience leading or supporting a major US Navy program initiative.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefs.Experience working with SharePoint and Confluence.Clearance Requirements:

Current and active Secret Security clearance.Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
