PLS is an entrepreneurial, B2B-focused business that delivers Expedia inventory through APIs, private label and co-branded travel solutions to a broad range of partners. Many of the world's leading airlines, financial institutions, hotels, travel sites, and associations rely on PLS for flexible, innovative, and customer-focused technology solutions.If you are an experienced product manager who is excited to work on new product solutions supporting a multibillion-dollar existing business, we want to talk to you!PLS is looking for a strong Principal Product Manager in Chicago or Seattle. The role is a product leader on the product team, helping to manage one of Expedia's largest Financial Institution partnerships. This person will be responsible for driving forward new product solutions to improve and streamline hotel programs for Expedia and our partner.What you'll do:Develop close relationships with our partners to understand their needs and create new opportunities that align with their goals and Expedia's.Work on a portfolio of supply and demand connectivity products, in close collaboration with the Partner's product and tech teams.Collaborate with peers in the cross-functional teams to deep-dive into existing products and processes, own product discoveries and solutioning.Work with engineering teams to create the right technical solutions to meet Partner's needs.Build relationships with internal Expedia teams to ensure the Partner's needs and priorities are understood and supported.Work with our analytics team and the Partner's team to track the performance of your products against targets.Advocate for your products and believe passionately in them.Collaborate with Account Management counterparts in setting strategic goals and prioritizing work.Who you are:7+ years in the travel industry, preferably in a B2B role.Solid understanding of hotel supply and demand connectivity products and partner needs.Creative thinker, willing to ideate beyond the status quo.Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Enjoy building professional relationships with partners.Excited by accountability in leading product solutions.Outstanding influencing skills, with experience in a large matrix organization.Knowledgeable in communicating with engineers about problem spaces and user stories.Able to identify the best business opportunities and devise clear strategies.Sound like a job you’d like to learn more about?
