Our novel software and services improve the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and ease of the data analysis of wearable biosensor data.
We are looking for an ambitious individual with a passion for quality and a self-starter attitude. As a small company, the DevOps Specialist will have the opportunity to develop and contribute to the success of our rapidly growing company.
What you’ll do:
Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines for applications and services on the chosen cloud platform.
Manage and optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Monitor resource usage, scale resources as needed and implement cost-saving strategies.
Work closely with offshore DevOps teams to coordinate tasks, share best practices, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data protection and privacy.
Collaborate with teams to implement DevOps best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Who you are:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
10+ years of experience as a Cloud Platform / DevOps engineer
Certifications from major cloud service providers, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, can be beneficial.
A strong background in working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is essential.
Proficiency in tools like Terraform, Argo CD, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and possibly programming languages for automation. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Salary: $175-$195K DOE
