Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales, delivery, and the client. The Architect ensures that the proposed solutions are both feasible and valuable. They will collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to estimate, scope, and architect solutions for clients and prospective clients, leveraging their deep functional and potentially technical expertise. The Principal Solutions Architect oversees the architectural aspects of mid-to-large-scale projects and provides input into sales strategy pre-sale. They will develop models that demonstrate how a product or solution provides value to customers and assist the delivery team in defining and designing solutions during implementation.
Responsibilities:
Maintain thorough knowledge of current and planned Oracle-supported applications, tools, and technologies.
Lead project solution design and oversee critical milestones throughout the implementation process.
Complete RFP responses in collaboration with sales teams to drive sales cycles to completion.
Ensure client satisfaction by communicating and addressing issues before, during, and after engagements, escalating to the PMO as necessary.
Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships with clients and the Oracle Cloud community.
Advocate for process improvements with clients by leading strategic business process transformation sessions.
Conduct design meetings with clients to determine business process requirements and technical needs, identifying the appropriate solution for implementation.
Architect the overall proposed solution and implementation strategy.
Perform quality control on estimates, Statements of Work (SOW), and project drivers, ensuring alignment with client needs and critical path items.
Participate in defining and delivering project proposals, estimates, SOWs, and implementation strategies.
Provide product information and guidance to clients and internal teams on processes, enhancements, and tools.
Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
Ability to understand fundamental Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning, Financials Close & Consolidation, Account Reconciliation, Narrative Reporting, Profitability and Costs, Tax Reporting & Enterprise Data Management.
Understanding of project implementation methodologies and the challenges faced by clients and implementation teams.
Proven ability to engage effectively with senior levels within organizations.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and staying current on Oracle Cloud releases and trends.
Willingness to travel as necessary.
Experience managing and delivering large projects, including planning and estimating preferred.
Proven ability to support sales as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Strong understanding of business-related drivers and parameters.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Oracle certification preferred.
