With the combination of AI and enterprise content, the opportunity has never been greater to transform how the world works together and at Box you will be on the front lines of this massive shift.Founded in 2005, Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, and we have offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.WHY BOX NEEDS YOUThe Box Legal team is looking for a contracts manager with experience supporting sales organizations and cloud technology companies to help with drafting, negotiating and closing commercial transactions for the purchase of Box's products and services and generally support our business activities in the United States and several international markets.You will be joining a distributed group of legal professionals across the US that support our go-to-market activities in the United States and several international markets with a focus on partnering with our Sales organization. The role will be working with stakeholders located in the Western United States and expected to be available during California working hours but the role can be based in the Box corporate offices in either: Redwood City, Austin, Chicago, or New York City.WHAT YOU'LL DODrive the contract negotiation and execution process to closure while managing risksSupport in the processing of a variety of legal agreements including NDAs and privacy-related termsSeek, track and save approvals from multiple internal teams (Deal Desk, Technical Accounting, Support)Collaborate on legal projects including sales enablement, training, and operational/export complianceAssist with contract management system administration, legal research, and other governance dutiesWHO YOU ARERequired SkillsBA/BS degree with 3+ years of relevant professional business and/or contract management experienceAttentive with a highly detailed approach to reviewing and redlining contractsAble to courteously and succinctly explain company positions and policiesA track record of positive collaborative experiences with the ability to comfortably manage projects with multiple stakeholdersPreferred SkillsPrevious exposure to US and EU data security and privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA) preferableKnowledgeable of cloud business models with the related legal, business and technical issuesDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple business expectationsBox lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
