Senior Manager of Quality Assurance on VALORANT for the Foundations Area,
you will holistically own end to end quality for a technical development team of teams. You will directly influence the quality of our technical backend system supporting VALORANT as a game, actively working with cross discipline leaders to align on quality goals for these. You will shape, promote, and drive the vision of quality assurance across the Foundations Area so that, "Gamers worldwide know that every experience they have with Riot will be a quality experience." You will report into the Director of Quality for the VALORANT franchise.Responsibilities:
Own the overall quality strategy for the Foundations technical featuresManage QA efforts across technical products with support from BU QA leadershipBe accountable for the efficiency and efficacy of QA throughout FoundationsBuild, develop and maintain a world-class QA organizationManage QA Managers and/or QA individual contributorsPartner with other craft leaders to influence craft and product strategiesSupport QA Department goals and objectives through product implementationRequired Qualifications:
8+ years Quality Assurance Experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleExperience working with setting and executing QA Strategy for backend servicesExperience working with senior leadership to manage budgets and headcountExperience establishing quality metrics that influence strategy and drive changeExperience creating test strategies for features in and around gamesExperience setting strategic goals for teams to executeExperience managing performance of embedded QA professionalsExperience working with remote testing teamsDesired Qualifications:
ISTQB Foundation Level.ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST)ISTQB Advanced Test ManagerExperience managing managersExperience working with technical teams developing backend services and development toolingTechnical knowledge in Unreal EngineExperience supporting release tooling technologyFor this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
