to join our global consulting firm as a
Director/Partner
in the
Mid Atlantic Area or Pacific West Area

Companies are spending as much as 15% to 20% of operating expenditures on Health and Safety process and programs but are seeing only a fraction of this impacting behaviors on the front-line, and therefore Health and Safety performance. ERM partners with our clients to deliver reductions in risk and sustained improvements in Health and Safety performance, as well as extract much greater value from their existing Health and Safety programs, processes and tools.ERM takes a distinctive approach to Health and Safety - one focused across the entirety of our client's operational lifecycle. For major capital projects as an example, ERM works with clients to co-design and operationalize a robust Health and Safety and risk management business process throughout the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases. For existing facilities, ERM partners with clients to reduce accidents by unlocking untapped potential in leadership, culture, Health and Safety programs, and processes. We help many of our clients build the business “Case for Change” through a diagnostic process to identify opportunities to add value through managing enterprise-wide risks. ERM is uniquely positioned through our leadership in the ESG space to help our clients link Health and Safety efforts to ESG efforts such as Safety and Healthy Workplaces, Supply Chains and Safety renewable energy sources. Our partnership model offers unparalleled opportunities for leaders with ambition, vision and proven expertise, providing:The opportunity to contribute significantly to key decisions, including the overall strategic direction of our organization.Meaningful equity ownership with significant financial and intangible rewards.The ability to provide “thought leadership” on a wide range of technical and business issues impacting our core markets.An extension of ERM’s market position and reach with your established relationships to further drive our growth.ROLE PROFILE:Primary focus on client account development, sales, and delivery of the full spectrum of ERM’s consulting services to deliver strategic value to our clients in the technology and power sectors.In particular, play a key role in growing ERM’s Environmental, Health, Health and Safety & Risk Compliance services across its broad portfolio of service offerings.Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM’s global strategy.Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organizations, raising the profile of ERM’s capabilities within key client organizations, to identify and shape clients’ needs for ERM services.Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.Manage capture efforts utilizing technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, and contracting.Manage projects across a range of areas of Health and Safety, including compliance, audit, management systems, Health and Safety culture, leadership development, training and risk management.Lead a team of consultants (including line management and development) and deliver business results for the team.Contribute to the growth and development of ERM’s global Health and Safety service initiative and actively collaborate with colleagues across the globe.Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in health and safety, human factors, learning and development, engineering, science, or related discipline.15+ years’ progressive Health and Safety management and leadership experience, including in a consulting environment and working substantially with industrial clients.Passionate about Health and Safety performance improvement and possess substantial experience in developing and delivering world-class EHS program solutions.In-depth understanding of the technology and/or power sectors, especially with strong client base in the Atlantic Central area or the West Coast.Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges and recognize corporate opportunities.Demonstrable track record in delivering multimillion dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.Offer recognized technical expertise and an established reputation in the local marketplace.Certification in field; CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar registration desired.For the Partner, Health and Safety & Risk Services – Power Sector position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $150,000 – $165,000. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life & disability insurance to benefits eligible* employees.*Benefits Eligibility is limited to Regular employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. Fixed-Term employees (including flex force) who are regularly scheduled to work 20 hours a week or more are eligible for a limited benefits package. Casual employees are NOT benefits eligible.
