Please review the following job description:Responsible for Third Party program executional excellence and portfolio optimization across Wholesale’s supplier portfolio, including partnering in a matrixed environment to develop and lead processes, routines and requisite support needs for Wholesale-wide vendor relationship management and risk management execution, supplier portfolio reporting and insights, supplier sourcing and engagement, and supplier optimization. Serves as Corporate Supplier Manager or Service Manager for select relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Responsible for driving consistent program adherence for the fulsome Wholesale supplier portfolio and for ensuring fluency of sourcing and supplier management programs across Wholesale business owners, value chain partners (Operations, Technology) and execution partners (Business Enablement and Service Managers).

Efficiently manages the Wholesale portfolio of Supplier services to meet the Division’s strategic and financial objectives within its risk appetite, and in alignment with enterprise policies and procedures.

Maintains visibility into all third parties utilized in Wholesale along with an understanding of their connection to, and role within, Wholesale’s ecosystems and strategy. Visibility includes the services being provided, the level of dependency of the business on each third party, the number of fourth parties being utilized, the financial spend relative to funding approvals and financial forecasts, and the overall performance of every Supplier being engaged.

Primary liaison with Third Party Risk Office, Third Party Risk Management, Governance and Controls Office and other Risk partners / governance structures relative to overall Wholesale supplier portfolio status, health and any deficiency escalation and remediation plans, as well as Risk Committee reporting and audit support.

Develops and implements QA and QM routines, governance cadences and management reporting to ensure excellence in Wholesale’s execution of all enterprise Third Party programs and procedures. Partners with corporate supplier managers, business owners and service managers to help ensure the integrity of Wholesale’s supplier portfolio data quality and reporting.

Serves as Corporate Supplier Manager for Wholesale Enterprise Critical Supplier contracts and may serve as Business Owner or Service Manager for key Wholesale-level supplier relationships.

Responsible for identifying and advocating for Wholesale needs related to process efficacy and efficiency, program training and support, and management reporting data / tools with enterprise program and Risk partners.

In partnership with Business Enablement Leads, Platform Initiatives Leads, Business Owners, Application Owners and users, establishes right routines to identify opportunities to drive synergy realization via supplier utilization, rationalization and other supplier portfolio optimization levers (license scope, etc.).

Partners with Group managers, business owners and service managers to proactively identify and summarize into executive level reporting the forward-looking pipeline of upcoming contractual renewals, price increases, new demand and other funding needs.

Responsible for maintaining Wholesale’s slate of proposals requiring funding (RAC/TED, ESEC/SIC) or other enterprise approvals (Change Governance Program), including maintaining a fulsome calendar with sufficient lead time for socialization and preparation to ensure readiness. As needed across the portfolio (and as required for all suppliers under their specific management), partners with business partners, Sourcing, Finance and other appropriate partners to draft submissions for approval.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Management and Logistics, or equivalent education and related training.

Minimum 12 years related work experience in financial services or related industry, inclusive of experience working in or with complex Wholesale businesses such as broker-dealers.

Significant business process analysis and project management experience, including successfully managing multiple large / complex projects concurrently.

Experience managing direct and indirect working teams in complex, matrixed environment.

Advanced understanding of the vendor management lifecycle and prudent Third Party risk management.

Thorough understanding of supplier contracts and techniques for successful business and risk management throughout the supplier lifecycle.

Proven ability to act as a liaison between business units, senior management, and various control groups.

Strong partnering, negotiating, leadership and influencing skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience and comfort engaging with and presenting to teammates across various levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

Advanced critical thinking, analytical, organizational and solutioning skills, with ability to problem solve and drive desired outcomes in unstructured / ambiguous situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or JD degree.

Experience managing large, complex Wholesale supplier portfolios at GSIB financial firm.

Experience collaboratively designing, gaining buy-in and implementing new operating models and program routines for supplier management.
