The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to our team, providing expertise in all aspects of human resources management. We’re on the hunt for someone who is enthusiastic and ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the heart of our organization. Along with our HR Manager, you’ll be our go-to gurus for aligning HR strategies with our big-picture goals, all while sprinkling some fun into our workplace culture!Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end process of payroll administration, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.Maintain and update payroll records; review timesheets and wage computation, and resolve any discrepancies.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.Facilitate the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and others.Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefit inquiries and issues.Collaborate with HR Recruiting to align payroll and benefits administration with new hires, terminations, and benefits changes.Prepare detailed reports regarding payroll and benefits expenditures.Liaise with external partners, such as benefits vendors and tax professionals.Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures, monthly insurance reconciliation, and records to ensure accuracy.Keep abreast of current trends and regulations in payroll and benefits administration to suggest and implement process improvements.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator, or similar role.Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations and procedures.Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Preferred Skills and Experience

Passion for enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall experience.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing employee concerns.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse teams.Proficiency in data analysis to measure employee engagement, turnover rates, and other key HR metrics.Pay Range

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year.Leveling and base salary is determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance.You will be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards.Offer compensation also includes the ability to purchase company stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Varda, like all employers, must ensure that its employees working in the United States are lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. Additionally, our employees are exposed to and have access to certain export-controlled items.
