Monday – FridayPosition Summary:The Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of projects within a federal agency, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time, within scope, and in compliance with federal regulations. This role requires a strong background in project management, supervision, and financial operations within government-related fields. The Project Manager will be solely dedicated to this contract, with no time shared across other corporate assignments or contracts. The ideal candidate will not only supervise the project team but will also be responsible for performing part of the daily work involved in the project.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership, oversight, and direct management of project staff to ensure all project goals, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.Perform a portion of the daily operational work required for the project, ensuring quality and adherence to federal guidelines.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure the project remains on track.Supervise and mentor project team members to promote collaboration, productivity, and goal achievement.Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and federal agency contacts regarding project progress, risks, and solutions.Monitor project performance metrics, budgets, and timelines, making necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.Provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders and senior leadership on project status and financials.Ensure all project activities comply with federal regulations, contract requirements, and organizational policies.Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.Must have 10+ years of professional experience in supervising staff in accounting, finance, business administration, criminal justice, or related areas.Should have demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines within a government setting.Desired Skills:Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects in federal or public sector environments.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and financial management tools.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with stakeholders at all levels.Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
